WorldStage! Concert Series is back, and we are inviting you to spend your summer with us! Doors open at 6:00 p.m., so come early to grab dinner from local food trucks, explore the galleries, and enjoy the Utah Cultural Celebration Center before the music begins. This year’s lineup features symphonic music, rock, Latin dance traditions, Brazilian rhythms, and Chinese cultural arts, bringing cultures from around the world to West Valley City.

August Moon Celebration: Chinese Cultural Arts

The August Moon Celebration features three Chinese cultural arts groups: the Utah Chinese Folk Orchestra, Salt Lake Chinese Dance Arts, and Utah Yuanfang Taichi Club. This performance features a breathtaking journey through time and geography—spanning from the Spring and Autumn period (c. 770–476 BCE) to the Tang and Qing dynasties and stretching from the Central Plains to the Western Regions of China. Bringing ancient poetry and folktales to life, their repertoire includes exquisite pieces such as Dancing Drum of the Silk Road, and Ode to Fair Ladies, celebrating thousands of years of profound Chinese history, the elegance of its historical artistry, and the rich tapestry of its cultural heritage.
