Trees of Diversity exhibit
This year’s Trees of Diversity exhibit continues a community tradition that started almost 20 years ago. Trees on display represent different countries and ethnic backgrounds as well as family traditions.
Spread throughout the Utah Cultural Celebration Center and complimented by the Winter Scenes and Holiday Dreams exhibition, community wreaths, nativities, and other festive decor, the Trees of Diversity exhibit showcases the richness of culture in our community, both here and abroad.
Nativities from Around the World
Since 2004, The Utah Cultural Celebration Center has collected nativities from around the world to complement the Trees of Diversity exhibit.
The nativities, many donated by individuals or cultural organizations, showcase not only the diversity found in our community, but also the far corners of the globe residents have traveled.
Winter Scenes and Holiday Dreams
This year’s Winter Scenes & Holiday Dreams exhibit features holiday and seasonal artworks by local Utah artists.
Come visit and enjoy seasonal fine art while discovering Christmas trees decorated by cultural and community groups while you are here.
Wreaths, nativities, and other festive decor complement your 2025 holiday experience at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center.
Nativity
Nativity was created six years after Pilar Pobil took her first pottery class. The set consists of 23 figures in a nativity scene titled: El Rebano; El Rey Gaspar; Reata del Desierto; El Rey Melchor; Los pastores vinieron desde lejos a Belen; The Singing Angels; La Vision de la Sibilia; Bienaventurados son los humildes porque ellos veran a Dios; El Rey Baltasar; Patriarca San Jose; Raquel y Rebeca; Angel; Tres camellos; Nino Jesus; El burrito; La Virgen María; En la noche, el angel anuncio a los Pastores; The Shepherd Boys; Herodes, el Rey Malo; Angel Antiguo; Mujer de pie; Angel; The Shepherd Boys; and Mujer de pie.
WorldStage! Beehive Statesmen & Wasatch A Cappella
This year is a double bill featuring a choral concert by the Beehive Statesmen and Wasatch A Cappella. Both wish you "Harmonious Holidays" with beautiful musical vocal arrangements traditional to Christmastime. Families with children are welcome, and special items will be available for silent auction. Come at 6:00 p.m. and enjoy a special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus and the Trees of Diversity and other holiday exhibits on display. Concert Doors Open at 7:00; Concert Begins at 7:30 p.m.
WorldStage! Bonnie Harris & The Valley Jazz Band
Award-winning local singer Bonnie Harris will sing Christmas classics accompanied by classic big band, The Valley Jazz. The annual jazz concert is a staple in the community, now celebrating its 29th year. Take a break from the Christmas rush and relax with Bonnie’s soothing alto voice. This family friendly concert is the perfect way to remember the good times of Christmases past, and rekindle the glow of Christmas present. CDs will be available for purchase. Come at 6:00 p.m. and enjoy a special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus and the Trees of Diversity and other holiday exhibits on display. Concert Doors Open at 7:00; Concert Begins at 7:30 p.m.
CFF - Holiday Detox
Join us for an evening dedicated to clearing space, restoring balance, and stepping into 2026 with clarity and purpose. Our Holiday Detox event invites you to reset after a busy season and welcome the new year with intention.
One of the highlights of the night is our Re-gift Exchange. Bring an item from home that you no longer need or will not use and pass it along to someone who might truly benefit from it. It is a meaningful way to release what no longer serves you while supporting others in our community.
Enjoy herbal teas and fresh smoothies as you take part in gentle reflective activities designed to help you let go of the past year and focus on the year ahead. We close the evening with yoga and a sound bath, creating a peaceful space to settle, reset, and leave feeling grounded. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for yoga and relaxation.

Christmas Creatures with PBS Kids Utah
Join PBS Utah for an evening of family holiday fun with a screening of Wild Kratts Creature Christmas and a new episode of Weather Hunters. Enjoy dinner, a hot cocoa bar, crafts, and a take-home Polaroid keepsake. This program is part of our Shared Stories Series in West Valley City.

WorldStage! West Valley Symphony of Utah
Enjoy Christmas with the West Valley Symphony, who will be performing holiday classics, old and new. Under the direction of Donny Gilbert, the West Valley Symphony is an all-volunteer orchestra of around 80 talented musicians from Provo to Tremonton. They deliver high-caliber concerts ranging from masterworks to lively pops programs, proudly serving West Valley City and surrounding communities. They have collabrated with the Choral Arts Society of Utah including the renowned Day of '47 pops at Abravanal Hall and the KUTV/Salvation Army Holiday Pops to Benefit the Angel Tree Program. Veterans Day Dinner
Join the Community Engagement and Culture Department and the West Valley City Veterans Committee as we honor and celebrate our veterans with an evening of dinner, entertainment, and a guest speaker from the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center.
Dinner is complimentary for veterans and their guests.

Founded in 2018 by ScenicView Academy, AutCon™ celebrates autistic culture, offering a supportive space for connection, resources, and tailored experiences.
The event will reach over 400 participants along the Wasatch Front, featuring renowned speakers, workshops, and community partnerships and serving as a key resource for Utah’s neurodivergent community.

Malialole
Malialole (Mah-lee-yah-loh-lay) is a Polynesian Music, Dance and Arts school, ensemble, and entertainment group. Malialole’s mission is to perpetuate the Polynesian culture through song and dance while promoting cultural awareness of all Pacific Island People sharing stories of the past and present. It is the goal of Malialole to teach, build and connect the youth with the beautiful Polynesian culture and tradition of respect and love.
This concert will take place on our festival grounds. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

Face of Utah Sculpture XXI Opening Reception
The Face of Utah Sculpture is an engaging exhibit featuring both well-known and emerging Utah sculptors, showcasing both traditional and contemporary sculpture in a variety of techniques, styles, mediums, and forms. Now in its 21st year, The Face of Utah Sculpture provides Utah artists with a truly unique forum to present Utah culture through sculptural form.
The Horse they Rode in on: Selected Works by Ric & Marcee Blackerby Opening
Dynamic Duo Ric and Marcee Blackerby have over 60 collective years of artistic service captivating Salt Lake Valley audiences with their artworks that both transform and mesmerize. The Horse They Rode in on is a retrospective of their work from their early days in traditional oil paintings and figurative studies to contemporary fiber art and found object assemblages.
