The Utah Cultural Celebration Center has ongoing opportunities for volunteers to assist with a variety of activities. Volunteer as an individual or with a community group! Volunteer your time and talents for one day only on a special project or event, or volunteer on a regular basis. We need the participation of all kinds of people to bring the center to life.
Ongoing Volunteer OpportunitiesInternships
Gain professional work experience and academic credit while contributing to the development of community based arts and cultural programs. UCCC staff will work with you to structure a unique internship experience that will meet your specific needs; anything from a full time in-house internship to a part time independent study project. Possible fields of interest include Arts Administration, Public Art, Gallery / Exhibition Curator, Non-profit Organizational Development, Events Management, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, Graphics / Visual Arts, Grant Writing, Travel / Tourism Development, Community Development, Youth Education, Sound and Stage Technology, Performing Arts Presentation, etc. Please call us to discuss possibilities based on our current schedule of upcoming events. Ushers, Ticket Takers, and Concessions Help
Ushers, ticket takers & concessions helpers are needed to provide help at our concerts, theatrical performances, and educational program events. These opportunities are scheduled on an as needed basis. If you love working with the public in an oftentimes fast-paced environment, you've found your place. Docents are needed to provide guided tours of the exhibits, and especially to help monitor the gallery during large public events. Docents are scheduled on an as needed basis. UCCC Facilities and Grounds Keeping
The total UCCC campus is over 60 acres. We depend on significant contributions of time from dedicated, community-oriented volunteers to keep the center shining. If your community group would like to commit to a regular or occasional schedule of community service in helping to maintain the grounds, we always have projects lined up that need to be done. We provide the supplies, you provide the help. |
