The Utah Cultural Celebration Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization created in 2012 to support education, arts, cultural programs, and capital projects at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center (UCCC). Your tax deductible donations support this important mission.
lEARN. EXPERIENCE. CELEBRATE.
These three words say it all. Because most of our programs are developed in response to grassroots initiatives, we act as facilitators, blending technical assistance and a wealth of experience to help community groups bring their ideas into the public light. By working with community groups we help people learn, experience, & celebrate artistic talent from the local community and the rest of the world.
ACCESS TO THE ARTS
We believe that the arts and strengthen the fabric of the community, but here are many barriers to access the arts for lower income and minority families. Cost for tickets, transportation, and time are the biggest barriers since many families are two-income families, or have parents that need to work two jobs to support their families. It is simply not feasible for them to access arts programs in other areas. West Valley City is the second largest and the most diverse city in Utah, and the Utah Cultural Celebration Center is an important link to providing equitable access to the arts for everyone.
Building community through education, arts and cultural experiences changes lives--families stay close, children embrace their heritage, elders are respected, creativity is nurtured, imagination is free, joy is everywhere, potential is reached. Families, teachers, seniors, artists, and community organization partners, all find value in the work we accomplish. Help us continue and build on more than a decade of success by donating now.
