![]() Have you ever considered the relationship between music and math? Upon first inspection these two achievements seem in direct contrast to one another. Music is emotional and sensory and ethereal. Math is logical and formal and concrete. But look a bit closer and you'll find that music and math are intricately connected in many ways. One example of this relationship is found in Beethoven's 31 Variations in C minor, which will be performed by award winning youth pianist Daniel Liu on Friday, April 24 at the Cultural Center. Come explore the relationship between the universal languages of music and math at VARIATIONS, a multisensory concert experience for the whole family.
